Why won't my S/10 crank

make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. Note the diagram for starter motor. I see 4 fuses, three of them hot all the time, the crank fuse goes hot with key in the crank position. Not only check the fuses, check for voltage at the fuses, use a test light. The neutral switch could also cause a problem? Sometimes you can bypass just to see if starter motor will crank the engine. If you try that, make sure transmission is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. Make sure vehicle can't move. Now, if your saying, it cranks good but won't start, that's different, check spark--proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?
guru9z2, the basics for problems at higher rpms, check for blockage of some kind, the first two things I think of are fuel and exhaust. There could be other issues?
