If I replace transmission will my check engine light go off

Well I have a bad Transmission and my check engine light is on hate to fix it and it don't go out

Maybe write your current codes down clear them and see what happens. Its not going to fix your transmission but the engine code can be reevaluated. Good luck. Good night.
