Can a '94 S-10 (2.2L w/ auto. trans) be towed w/ a wheels on the ground?

under 45 mph and not to far like thirty miles or so is playing it safe, ive chanced more and no problem, drop the drive shaft in 5 minutes if concerned, or start it up now and then and work the gearshift to pump fluid to the trans components
