Length of dipstick

I have a S10 pickup 1993 automatic
transmission with 4.3 engine and the
dipstick for oil that was in it is too long
and not showing me the proper amount
of fluid in it and I really want to know
what's the length of a diptick for my
truck? Only stick not tube too..I've
looked on Google and everything please
help
