I found out that the hose on the EGR valve had come off, so I put it on, everything else I double checked, now I'm letting it sit for a little while, in case it had flooded a little. The only other thing I did, was reset the computer for the codes,

For testing, remove egr valve, use a plate or something to seal the opening. Block any applicable vacuum lines. If the engine runs better, you got your answer. If that vacuum line was unplugged, that might be your answer? Should be no egr flow at idle. Just my opinion.

Yesterday, I didn't have the damn gasket on it, I had left it off, the truck was actually doing okay (for once ), then today I put the gasket on it, now it won't start. I hate this damn truck, it's only ran good for three months out of the year I have had ot.

The truck is still not starting up (running ),the map sensor came today, so I put it on, still the same, I looked up every diagram I could find, all the hoses are on right, everything is connected properly, I have been over this truck a million times, shows no codes. I've replace the wires and plugs, distributor cap, rotor button, fuel filter. It was at least starting over before I put the Egr valve on,now I'm lost, frustrated, ?
