Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ill be driving over 80kmh and my service engine
light comes on, then after about 45 minutes it
turns off. When the light is on i feel the engine
lag almost like a very short sputter. Could this be
bcs of my exhaust leak causing compression
problems or another issue?

If you go to an Autozone they will check your check engine codes for free. You can then look up the code online to hep diagnose.

This was happening to my S-10. Problem was a weak/bad spark plug. Engine codes should tell you that for sure!
