Question type: Maintenance & Repair

K so I replaced the fuel pump on my 01 bravada and as me and the dipshit
helping me were reinstalling the tank he dropped the rear of the tank and
somehow broke one of the connections for the fuel lines .is there anyway i
can either MacGyver it or way to fix it at all ?.... I'm stuck at this point
between murdering him or trying to Jimmy rig it but any ideas would definitely
be greatly appreciated so please someone help me lol thanks

If it's good and broke, I wouldn't trust it. Is it a metal or plastic tube? Maybe you can re-flare the end of the tubing with a brake flaring tool if it's the metal kind. The fuel line just clamps on that anyhow, but it's got some pressure so I wouldn't clamp it to just a straight end. Personally I'd just get another one.

I'll have to take a pic of the other half when I go back outside in a few mins in warming up its freezing here in New Hampshire

I'd say you're boned. Not the sort of thing you want to JB Weld.

And the extra shitty part is I can't replace individual connector lines they all are part of the cast on the fuel pump

I'll bet that it looked a whole lot more rust on it before you bead blasted it Just buy a new sending unit through Rockauto It's not the helpers fault that it was a piece of crap to start with It's just your CHEA P Hell you probably didn't even pay him for helping you and you just want someone to blame for your own incompatance
