convert from automatic transmission to a 6 speed transmission

I looking to convert to a 6 speed
manual transmission from a auto.
In process of looking for
transmission,  bellhouseing,  
clutch pedal.  Will I need to
change computer have
reprogrammed for a manual
transmission? Anything else I'm
missing.  Not to worry about
steering column unless I find a
donor truck. Truck is just a
weekend driver.

I would think you will need a manual transmission ECU or one that has been reprogrammed. Your CEL would probably be on all the time if the ECU is looking for an automatic transmission.
