lack of power, white smoke, gas smell, runs rough

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2004 sport trac 4.0L sohc, it was running good then all of a sudden it stalled out. after the initial stall i had to 2foot it to keep it running. It idled rough, has no power 0-10mph in 30 seconds once i got up to speed it has more power and runs ok but rough. there is a bad gas smell, blows white smoke. the codes came up initially for a MAF so i replaced that with no changes. then a code for the O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 1 rich ECM correction could not correct, so i replaced the O2. still no change. then received code for TPS, replaced that and no change. again code for O2 came back same issue. I did find the purge valve line was split at the junction so i replaced that and still no change. I did some searching and found that my harmonic balancer was  wobbling so i replaced that and the crank sensor, problem still persists with the same O2 code. removed and tested the EGR and its withing specs, checked the IAC and its working. I smoked the engine and repaired any vacuum leaks but I still hear one and cant find it and the smoke test does not show it so i tried carb cleaner to find any vacuum leaks and cannot find any. the truck is not drivable and I'm lost, any ideas of what i may have missed would be appreciated.

Have you tried a compression test? If you don't own a compression tester you can borrow one from most auto parts stores. Advance and Autozone both have loaner programs. Keep looking for vacuum leaks too, and check out the catalytic converter.
