how do I stop the door locks from locking when I start the engine?

Should be a fuse or a relay for the auto lock doors

that is a real pain in the ass is it not ? those building vehicles these days are nuts, oh! for the safety we"ll do this; and that and you cant even see a low tire ,but we got you covered, i do like the the idea of radar telling me someone to my right if im driving a lambo and got a stiff neck, though, just pull driver door panel, snip wire to lock solinoid on driver door and render it out of electrical service, when you jump out lock it manually , if you want it locked,

I would not start cuting wires maybe unplug the wire so you can hook it back up if needed. It may be part of the security system of the truck. Does it lock the doors when you start it or when you put it into gear?

Locks are tied into four other items one being trans controller, security,and shifter lock out. Just went through this on bosses on his 250. And yes I did see you ask on a 150

On my 2004 expedition you can change that setting using the menu on the info screen. When i bought mine the doors didn't lock, i assumed the feature was broken, turns out it was turned off. Check your owners manual.
