no 12v power to 7 pin connector on 2003 F250 gas engine

This is F250 is a gas engine - does not have a fuse box under the hood.
I bet it does. My F150 does and I am pretty sure the F250 does too. Look on the left side on the engine bay for a black box with a flat top.
NOPE - not on this model. Found the bad fuse - #115.
I have not been able to find a solution for this and it surprises the heck out of me. I want to be able to have a hot, non-switched, connection to the 7-pin. This means that I don't want to have to turn the key to accessory to power the wire. Everything that I have seen on the internet requires a new wire to be run from the panel. In my Chevy, it was a matter of buying and inserting a fuse into the panel that was pre-wired. Please someone tell me that it isn't a 10 hour job in the Ford to do what takes 30 seconds in the Chevy?
