My 2004 Mercedes S430 driver door won't unlock manually. How do I fix this?

My key fob does not work, so I have to manually unlock and lock it.

You might have an issue with your BCM or the security system. Not sure what you need to do, But I would try and replace the battery in your fob first and or reprogram it?
