can you put regular unleaded fuel in them?

I was just wondering if it's ok to put regular unleaded fuel in them? It's says premium fuel only on the gauges.

noooooo. all gasoline mercedes require premium fuel. regular fuel will damage it.

no. pre-detonation will occur throwing the firing of each cylinder off. you will lose significant power and engine efficiency. the loss of efficiency will cost you more in gas than putting the right grade of fuel in.
