How to fix the drivers seat?

Take it to a Toyota dealer, quickly. That is a major safety issue, for you, your passengers and the other drivers on the road. if the seat is not secure you are not able to completely control your car.
Thanks but it should be something I could fix without donating my retirement funds to a dealer. I mean, I will if I need to but... Does anyone know to fix this?
WHSW thank you for the vote of confidence. Perhaps you could call a dealer and ask if this repair is part of any recall and/or if it is still under any Toyota warranty . Failing that, see if they will give your a estimate of costs. If none of that is to your liking and further investigation on forums such as http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/84-rav4-forum/ don't help. I would suggest an auto upholsterer shop as they may(?) know what is wrong as they have to take out and put back seats all the time. Good Luck and safe driving.
