Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a loud knocking sound coming from the engine block, it still starts and runs. It started with a bit of noise and just suddenly switched to a loud knocking.

Hi calirejane! If you are asking you probably can't do it yourself (if you are indeed asking if YOU can do it). But more importantly you need to get it to a pro asap and see what it would take before it becomes and even bigger problem. Progressing issues rarely get cheaper to fix as they progress. Get it looked at. Good luck!
