Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Started My Cobalt & noticed it
was running rough&rattled a little
shut it off imediatly figured it was
timing so I replaced the timing
chain & gears checked the
balance shaft chain&gears&it was
ok& timing marks were good put it
back together & it just spins freely
like there's no compression so
pulled each plug1by1 and
checked each piston there all ok
so would it be a bent valve(???
Please can somebody help me
out with this thank you

Do a compression test. A bent valve won't be closing properly and will be immediately evident on a compression test.
