Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car died in the middle of the road. Got a tow jump, car died
and made a clanking noise. Towed home. Put new 100
amp alternator fuse, battery, fuel filter, but it just tries to
turn over but no Varoom. It drove great for the last year,
passed smog. Why won't it kick over. Should I hit the
starter. All fuses replaced or good! New words and plugs!
What's up with these Toyotas? My 93 Tracker runs great!
