Your info helped. I have a 2006 HHR K/t /they replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor but the car still makes the jerky feeling that I took it in for.. As you drive sown the road shen you start the whole car will jerk and as it changes speed the jerk gets less and everytime I have to stop and go it goes thru this whole routine..I thought it was a transmission but their computer said it was the above. I have paid for that and have to take it back..I am a 87 year old widow. Can anyone help me??

Yes, take it back to the "mechanic" should never have released the vehicle without a test drive to confirm driveabilty issues resolved. IF they do not cooperate with you contact your Secretary of States office.

Be careful of mechanic your taking it to! I'd take it to a couple of mechanics and see what they tell u first. Crankshaft position sensors if they go out, they go out and typically car will not start. If your really an 87 year old widow they may b trying to take advantage of you...be careful!
