Car not starting 04 grand prix

Asked by Timothyd5482 May 01, 2018 at 03:40 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So the fuel pump went. Changed it out drove great
for about a week. Now the car stopped starting. I
have replaced starter battery ignition still nothing
the fuel pump is not kicking on and the car starts
in acc starter does not stop cranking until I I shut
the car down. It's not starting where it should when
turning the key. I have checked all fuses and
chased wires for days no breaks at all. I have
pulled all grounds and have cleaned them all. Now
I'm stuck don't want to tow it to a GM dealer and
spend way more money. If anyone has any ideas
that would be amazing.

you have a ignition switch issue. If you replaced it, something was done incorrectly.
