have a 2000 gtp with a bad trans and just bought a 2002 gt that caught fire. can i swap all of the gtp engine stuff in the gt bay and still have a working car with out a mess with the bcm

i have all the parts do this just need some info if the bcm and the inside of the car will talk to he pcm or do i need a custom pcm?

Corolla_356 yes its a 02 grand prix gt only has 40k for miles. I had a engine fire but the trans is still good and I have built the gt trans to fit my 3.8s/c. Just hope I can get some advice to see it the gtp harness and ecm will work with the rest of the car
