Why does my Pontiac grand prix 01 run hot going up hills?

I've looked at the whole cooling system n nothing is wrong. Car runs normal other wise.

Check levels in radiator when cold. I went thru years of refilling overflow tank because of a leak around thermostat due to hairline cracks in plastic fittings. Very easy to replace yourself.
