stumped! need help please

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

white smoke coming from rear end out by the tires.
checked the brakes no unnecessary compression.
the smoke goes through my trunk and into the car I
honestly can't really describe what it smelled like it
was almost a mixture of somethings! really
stumped need help!

If that smell was like rotten eggs, then it would be your catalytic converter, if yours is blocked up it's forcing the exhaust to go out through a seam or crack in the exhaust or through a hole burned into the side of the converter. Either way you should have your exhaust checked out, fumes getting into the cabin area can be a real killer.
