1999 Grand Prix Loss power and shut down on highway. Blue smoke rolling from under the car but wasn't oil. Smelled electrical. What can this be?

Was hard to start but once I got going, it was unable to get over 40mph then start to buck jump. Got pulled over to shoulder then died.

maybe the ignition module, timing chain, or fuel injector system. how many miles on the GP?
