Question type: Maintenance & Repair
You can start it and it dies right away like there is no fuel and it has a new pump n filter.
also a few lights are on the service engine light, security light and now a TRAC OFF light!

make sure the battery is NEW.~ all your problems may go away then~
Its the ignition switch, and the Trac light is a wheel bearing and check engine is something else. Its just a coincidence there all on at the same time!

...then have your trouble codes read by an autoparts store, or get a code scanner for less than twenty bucks...the diagnostic plug is within' three feet of your ignition switch~

this will tell us what parts to replace/take inventory of~...kind of sad that you had not disconnected the black cable....introduce a drain such as pumping the brakes and switching hte a/c off and on....then reconnecting the cable will "clear" the codes and start fresh....if the codes persist is because there are genuine problems with the components...do not dismiss the NEW battery idea, please check the push-off label on the top of your battery what may indicate the first charge date....as the battery ages it stops accepting a charge which can lead to alternator failure and a bad day for everyone....check this.

may start the car okay, and seem normal...but you're slow-roasting the alternator~ 10% per year and after ten years will have only latent charge...then nothing~
Any parts store can test battery and alternator to check the output. Should be over 13.3. Most gms in good working order are over 14 volts charging.
