Brakes

Asked by GuruNLWQV Oct 28, 2019 at 12:49 PM about the 2005 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, my cars brakes would squeal really loud the first few miles I would drive
it.  So I had them checked several months ago and was told it was nothing.
Now, I hear a grinding noise when I apply my foot to the brake pedal.  I will not
have the funds to fix this for another month.  Can I drive conservatively on
them until then?  Thanks in advance!

Do you not drive the car often and or short trips? It could just be rust on the rotors.
