my brake light on the dashboard is on and stays on any suggestions. 1995 town car

1995 Lincoln town car....165000 miles.  just came on 5 days ago and brakes seem to be working well. fluid is full.

Could be something wrong with the brake light switch from the emergency brake switch, or it could be the switch on the bottom of the master cylinder

Is the emergency brake partially on? The emergency brake or switch will make the brake light come on.
