Trunk mounted 10 disc CD players

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can I put a CD changer from a 1996 Lincoln Mark 8 in a 1997 Lincoln Mark 8?
The model numbers differ at the beginning and the end. The 1997 model
number is F7LF-18C830 - AA. I found a CD changer from a 96 Lincoln Mark 8
but it's model number is different. F6LF-18C830-AB. Are they compatible as far
as plug-and-play or is there different Electronics between the stereo heads
tween the years. Thank you

Yes you can, & actually it should be an updated changer also. The precisprevious years were not very reliable
