Camshaft Sensor

Working on solving a P0320 code

I think P0320 is crankshaft position sensor failure and that is a good one to replace as they frequently quit on this engine. Hard to reach but worth replacing now. Okay...P0340 would be the camshaft position sensor and many times it's hard to tell which one does what....crank sensor vs cam sensor. I tried replacing my camshaft position sensor and the new part would not run because the plug in was extremely tight and did not connect right. I put the old one back in. It's easy to reach and I can replace it on the road if P0340 comes up.
Understood....it appears that either could be the problem so thought I would just change both. Chose the Camshaft sensor first since it was a little easier to get to. Just a little worried now if I change the Crankshaft sensor I will run into the same thing with the Camshaft sensor. Guess will go the next step and see what happens. TY for the feedback
