I have a 04 gmc z71 when in 4x4 i give it gas there
is a poping like gears stripping on front driverside
any advice thank you

May be a bad cv axel on that side.

Check CV joints, in fact wouldn't hurt to check for any worn bushings (struts, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar/links, etc.)
