Seats from the year 1999 and up are perfered much beter but anything that doesnt look
like the original is ok
They should fit. That being said, if you have a bench seat and are putting in buckets, you'll have to drill additional bolt holes on each side towards the transmission tunnel. Also, the 99-06 seats have an integrated seat belt system. You can use most truck/van/rv type seats you like. If they slide rails don't match yours you can unbolt the ones off your seats (if you have buckets) and bolt them on the seats you want to use. Slight modifications or new bolt holes might need to be drilled on the slide rails, but nothing to complicated usually. Hope this helps!
so do you think 2007-2010 seats would fit too? and what other seats could fit? last but not least do i have to do any major modifications to the seats , the frame , or the slide rails?would the seats fall n perfectly or i have to adjust them? answer my question and i will hit the best answer button
The 2007-10 are narrower because of the lack of integral seat belts. There are no modifications needed for any of the seats themselves. The concern (if any) will be with the sliding bases. The general rule of thumb is that seats from one GM product should fit other GM products (same for Fords etc), this streamlined the number of seat bases GM had to manufacture. The only real issue is now finding the color and material you want. Years ago, I personally installed really nice multi- contour seats with very similar cloth to the Suburban, from a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville SSE into a 1994 Suburban without any modification, with the exception of 1.5 risers I installed on the base to raise up the entire seat to my liking, but that was a personal preference.

No they won't cuz I'm trying to do it right now and the 97 I have is 13 and a half wide bolt holes on passenger side 13 and a half deep and the ones that I pulled out of a late 99 newer body style are 15 across and they are 14 deep so no they will not fit unless you make your own brackets which I'm going to have to do
