Been checked with several mechanics,
for 5 years..never found a problem. I
think it is the make Taurus. Runnable
great.

Do they even make any Taurus anymore ? Seems like everyone I talked to has the same problem check engine light on after spending a lot of money. It's the manufacturer fault

Did they reset or read the codes? If not go to the local parts store and have them do that for you. If you plan on keeping the car there is Forscan a computer based program you can DIY trouble codes off your laptop and not have to always go to a mechanic Good Luck!
