What are these screw holes on the back of my 2004 Ford Taurus SE from?

Question type: General

I have recently bought a 2004 Ford Taurus SE. The back of my car, near the rear license
plates, has a set of three screw holes on either side of my license plate. They're too far
apart to have been a plate frame, to my knowledge. Can someone tell me what was taken
off or what's missing? I'd love to replace whatever was there so those holes aren't visible!
Thanks.

Those are from LED emergency lights, I drive the same for work and have mine in the same exact spot (but on a mount attached to the actual plate so it doesn't cause those holes)

It looks like the car had some type of LED or Strobe lights mounted there. It could of been a former police, security, emergency vehicle.I would suggest a body shop to fill in the holes and paint it if you ain't a handy person, If you are just look on YouTube and look for some videos on how to fix antenna holes in trunk. Im not saying the holes are from a antenna but just guessing that you will most likely find more videos by typing that in. Maybe try.. how to fill in antenna holes in trunk lid on Crown Victoria.. etc Good luck with your search..
