A good price for you or the buyer? I would say a fair price would be $2,000.00 to $2500.00 depending on the condition. However, I am no way a expert on pricing.
Assuming it's in Good condition, Kelley Blue Book shows a Private Party Selling Price of around $2,200. Take a look here: http://www.kbb.com/ford/taurus/2004-ford-taurus/se-sedan-4d/?condition=good&vehicleid=2384&intent=trade-in-sell&mileage=200000&category=sedan&pricetype=private-party
Would you sell your wife or children? Why? If you bought a Taurus and were satisfied with it's performance; the money you might get would pay for what? Maybe pay a utility bill for four months! There have been movies made about the unappreciated, non-breathing entities in our lives. Celebrate! Those movies were made about you. Have you figured it out yet? I am picking on you. Sell your Taurus and your wife and kids, That is your right. .Laugh, whoever you are. That is your only chance to be happy when the lights go out.
