Question type: Car Customization

Proud owner of a  '93 Ford Thunderbird with a 3.8 V6.    My question is this,
how much work would be involved if I were to replace the current engine with
the 5.0 V8? I was told it would be fairly straight forward except I would need to
swap out the motor mounts,  *which I would have anyway regardless.*

I would say engine, trans, mounts, wiring harness, ecm, rear axle, driveshaft, and exhaust. Basically the whole drivetrain.

Your Answer:

Thunderbird
