Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hi Everyone, This is a question for the persons who own a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO Automatic. I am having such a difficult time finding parts for my car. Does anyone know where i can call to find parts. I called a Salvage yard and i ordered the knuckle/spindle for the driver side front. But they sent me the wrong one. Is there a difference in these part. My mechanic says that the knuckle has threading in the hole where the caliper bolt goes. The part that the salvage yard sent doesnt have any threading. Someone please help...Miss driving my car

did not mean to spam you,it was in middle of others that were,no threading on the parts you have, install them and start driveing again.
Have you posted on the SHO Group Sites? There are several members who have shops dedicated to SHO's.
I dont know if you have gotten anywhere with this topic or not...but,1993 can use two different types of brakes on the hubs...the '92 style,or the '94 style...1993 was a switch over year to a different style hub...by your description...i am guessing that you have the '92 style hub...I have had a '94 sho,and own a '92 sho...so I have ahd both styles, and actually upgraded the '92 brakes,to the '94 style,by changeing the hub over...feel free to get ahold of me with any more questions
