Door Ajar ligths and dome lights stay o

Some on here say that spraying wd 40 into the latch mech of the door will free and clean the switches up to operate properly again.
WD40 can work. It's a crummy design - the switch is upside- down in the latch so anything that enters the latch can end up in the switch - then it sticks. Not impossible to change the switch out but a little bear to get to. Mostly because of the scratches to your arm to reach it.
is there a video somewhere specifically for a 2003 (or like year) ford expedition?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkTucVnr-rc -- this may help. Not yours exactly but will give you the general idea.
