replacing an engine on a 2006 ford escape

Is it possible to remove and replace 2006 3.2l engine out the top instead of
dropping it out the bottom on the escape

First off it's a 3.0L if you have a 6cyl. You remove it from the bottom. Maybe from the top if you disconnect the transaxle first? Do some more research.
