transmission reverse gear

Time for a new Tranny my friend... Crown vic of that year with a 5-speed in it would be cool ;)

You burnt out reverse doing something. Or it just crapped out. Vic's have notoriously shitty tranny's. New tranny time. Or fix the old one. If you know your way around a tranny find a new reverse gear on do it up. Mechanics can fix it for some bank though.

ok i had the same issue with mine check the clear plastic part under the car that changes the gears if it came out of place or broke off it cost 8 dollars and a dealership so check that our and respond

John where is the clear plastic piece located at under the car?

my ford crown victoria 2008 go forward but do not backward(reverse) if any let me know thank you.
