2003 chevy silverado heater only blows out of defrost. I turn the knob to other settings and still only comes out of defrost. Could this be a actuator issue or the switch it self?

I HAVE A 2000 CHEVY SILVERADO. AT FIRST MY HEATER ONLY BLEW THEW THE COUNSEL AND IT WAS WARM AIR, NOW IT ONLY BLOWS COLD THROUGH THE VENTS TOWARDS U FACE AND NO AIR TO DEFOST. ALL COLD AIR .
