All my gears work but when I put it in drive nothing

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 to will
drive ls model what the extended cab with
the half doors I put a new rear and it
because it needed it the truck shat for a
while then I want to go drive it it would not
go in a drive but it goes into 1st 2nd 3rd
reverse but drive does not work a just  Revs
up

Uhhh, does it move when you put it into 1st 2nd and 3rd? Sounds like the shifter linkage may be the issue or something inside the transmission.
