Will a 3.8 out of a 97 firebird rwd fit in a 2003
bonniville fwd?

Motors can be used fwd or rwd. The transmission is what makes them fwd/rwd. If they're the same motors then yes. You may have to swap some stuff over for year difference, intake, sensors etc.

That's a pretty big year jump tho. I think they have some changes in block designs from 97 to 03. Look them both iver carefully
