ES300 battery light not on but won't turn over without a jump?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

I had been away for about a week and came back to colder weather (nothing out of the
ordinary) the car wouldn't start before work. I was able to get a jump from someone and
drove to work fine. After work, same thing happened.

I don't remember if the lights/radio came on in the morning, but they did after work and it
seemingly almost turned over as well. I drove it home and let it sit for a few hours - just
checked on it and it started -- no problem.

I'm wondering if it's just an issue with my battery dying, or something else. The reason I'm
asking is because there is no battery light on, no check engine light on, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Preventive maintenance on a battery should be done yearly, if not twice a year. Clean your battery cable's, and give your battery a good 24 charge from a battery charger. Then stop buy any auto parts store and they will check your battery, and charging system. If you get 3-4 years out of a battery your doing good.
