98 ford escort right rear control arm broke .. rust on frame .. fix ??

If the rust is that bad then the car is history. There are most likely more rusted out places. So there is no real or safe fixes.

Yup, I have a friend who had an Escort, rear shock mounts rusted through. The car is scrap.
