When I put a cd in the radio the word err displays an it ejects the cd. All other
functions are working

Your lazor may be dirty or the cd spinner may be broken , or check the quality of your cd if it's authentic it should play 99 percent of the time but if it's a burned cd some audio systems may have trouble recognizing the format of the particular cd or songs format, it may be time for a new one I hope this helps
