Down payment for a car

I want to know because I'm trying to trade on car  
but I was wondering can you use the car as a down
payment as if you had cash for a car.

In most cases yes, however depending on the millage and conduction of the trade in..it is possible to sell it to a privet party 800-1500 more than what a car lot will give you.

Usually, yes! It depends on the lot/dealer at times, but a majority of the time, yes. I have some friends who have even used junky cars that barely run as down payments, but obviously it wasn't as rewarding. Lol. Like above, do some research, post online, and ask around because sometimes you can get a better deal or trades or whatever. Good luck!
