Shaking steering wheel

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I drive on the highway a lot and my normal
speed is around 80 miles an hour when it goes
below that to about 65 steering wheel starts to
shake. I recently replaced the brake rotors and the
brake pads and did a full tire rotation but it shakes
between 60 mph to 75mph.  How do I make it go
away?

So I have the tires balanced about six months ago when I had the new tires put on do you think it's already time for a balance?

a reputable tire shop will be able to tell you if tires are not distorted and the rims are not bent, tire speed balancing should do it

Brake parts will usually not make it shake unless you are braking. It is likely tire balance or out of round tires. What brand tires did you have installed?
