How do you get the down payment option from changing? This is madness

Can someone tell me how I can make it
so that the down payment that I'm willing
to pay stays the same when I'm
shopping? I would like to purchase a
used vehicle and I was pre-approved but I
only have a certain amount for down
payment. A significant amount at that,
$1,500. However, it will not let me just
keep it at 1500. Even when I press keep
my options. It will still automatically
change it to you know 2,500 or more.
Help! I'm about to give up on this site all
together.
