Why does my 7 lb dog set off the security alarm when left in my locked 2003 M150 SUV & how can I prevent it?

When I lock my 2003 SUV the security alarm goes off if my 7# dog moves about in the vehicle.  Is there a motion detector in the vehicle? It doesn't seem to happen if I leave a person in the vehicle when it is locked.

Before leaving vehicle, DISABLE the alarm's motion sensor by pressing the "motion sensor disable" switch that is near the sunroof controls. It is represented by a tow truck and hook. Just push once. Leave vehicle, close door, and lock it via the remote.

Probably the glass. If the pooch disturbs the windows by putting paws on .... that will trigger alarm, as if somebody is trying to use a slim-jim---the alarm is sensitive to that
