Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay, back to my lemon.  The guy who sold me this prize auto told me the fuel pump had just been replaced and for some reason after this, the fuel gauge did not work.  I am going to go ahead and order a new pump just to be safe because we already know it runs like crap so this can't hurt.  Any suggestions on where to start looking?  The wiring where the wires are attached to the assembly look intact and everything at this point looks to be fine.  Remember folks, I AM NO MECHANIC, just a poor sucker who wanted to get the car (I had one 20 years ago) and have a long way to get it into good working order.  Thanks for any input.

http://www.3sx.com/store/comersus_index.asp They are expensive but they'll most likely have what you need or better. Best place for upgraded parts. Send these folks your VIN # and they will get you the right OEM part at the best price. http://www.cherryhillmitsubishi.com/specials/parts.htm
