How do I hook up the main wires that come off the battery?

Asked by Ginger Jun 23, 2022 at 09:45 PM about the Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Which main wire goes to the fuse box, the ground or the
power wire that goes to the starter as well on my 2006
Dodge Ram 1500 & is there supposed to be one of those
main wires that are on the battery does one go to the
alternator too? How is it supposed to be wired so I don't
catch the wires on fire again?
